The original info graphic, I had designed on the idea of solutions but I felt that it looked quite flat, and it didn't match the other pages, and I thought that the two bars on the left looked too separated.
And so when I was looking at globes I saw one that looked like it was exploding outwards

even though I liked the effect I knew that this would not match the aesthetics of the report and so I thought about projections, and created them coming from the globe in different colours of blue, the subheadings in white and at the right hand side are the explanations for each solution, I think that the globe is more striking on the page and the invisible circle joins the solutions to the results, indicated by an oversized equals mark.
In my first print I had created the circles footprint, in the info graphic I had a key for the colours relating to the sort of carbon, I then had lines as a graph for the information of how big the footprint was, and the worlds actual biocapacity which you can see is a lot lower.
I still had some countries to convert, I felt that the info graphic was a little bit misleading as the bigger circles should of been a lot further away.
And so I designed more of the countries, (which where in the middle of the graph in the original report) I then added these to the footprint I had created, this way the middle countries added to the realistic size of the circles, it is more realistic now. As well as this I felt that the line which indicated the size wasn't necessary. And so I changed this to a circle graph which indicates the size of the circles in relation to their Gha. As well as this I added to lighter blue circles which show the worlds average and the worlds actual capacity, and these are placed next to each other for scale comparison and then in conjuction with the size of the Ghas circles. The lighter blue circles are also in the footprint diagram and they are clearly visible.
The new information is more coherent and visually interesting to look at you can also see scale a lot better.
