Why do brands need your help ?
Brands are used everyday, 
so how can we make them better ?

what is a brand ? a logo ? a identity ?

A brand doesn't have to be the actual product
Macmillan is a cause
Barack Obama- a person 
both have an identity, branding 

IKEA- embodiment of making things more interesting, fair/ good design for all

Brands that are a wonderful experience makes everyday lives better, we as designers have a responsibility to do this. 

The small touches make every detail its really important
i.e. the Apple iPhone packaging (and all product packaging) 

Point of difference
Only one brand/shop can be the cheapest, theres no value in being the cheapest 

How many brands aren't a wonderful experience & 
Don't care about there audiences ?

e.g. train tickets, recycling, retirement homes, the council 
(branding all plain, no wonder)

Henry Ford understood the idea of selling the brand as an experience, and understood that people replay what they know, and fear change

the rationale for the idea is key
